Artist service terms
DJ Promo Desk is operated by YIN LTD, company number 10660966, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 2 Western Street, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England, S70 2BP.
1. What you receive
DJ Promo Desk provides an artist website and a private workspace for managing music, releases, enquiries, promotions and related artist information. The features available to you are those shown in your plan and workspace. We may maintain and improve the shared platform; material reductions to your paid service will be notified in advance where practicable.
2. Account and term
The agreement starts when we accept your application and you accept these terms as part of your onboarding. A paid subscription begins only after its price and billing schedule are clearly shown and you authorise payment. It continues month to month until cancelled by you or ended under these terms. There is no minimum commitment beyond a paid month unless an individual written agreement says otherwise. Complimentary pilot access has no charge and is governed by a separate written invitation describing its duration and conditions; it does not silently convert into a paid plan.
3. Fees and missed payments
Any setup fee, monthly fee, applicable tax and third party costs will be shown before checkout. Unless expressly included, your domain, mailbox, Resend, Kit, Buffer and other external accounts are your own costs. You can cancel future monthly renewals through the billing method we provide or by contacting us before the next renewal. Payments already made for a month normally cover that month; this does not limit any rights given by law. If a renewal fails, we will email you with a payment link and allow at least five calendar days to resolve it. If it remains unpaid, we may temporarily replace the public site with a neutral unavailable page. We will preserve your workspace and give you a reasonable chance to retrieve your content. Once payment is confirmed, we will restore the site as soon as reasonably possible. A payment dispute may be reviewed manually.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your music, images, words, trademarks and data. You give us permission to store, process and display material you choose to publish, solely to provide the service. You are responsible for obtaining rights and permissions for uploads and mailouts, keeping information accurate, and using only contact lists you are entitled to use. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, harassing, sexually exploitative or hateful material, malware, or material that exposes another person’s private information without permission.
5. Music first: public-site boundaries
Artist websites on DJ Promo Desk are for music, dancing, events and the artist’s professional work. Do not use the public website to campaign for a political party or cause, recruit for a religion, or publish political or religious advocacy. This does not prevent truthful, incidental references to your background, music, performances or cultural influences. We apply this rule to the public artist website, not to anyone’s private beliefs or identity.
If content appears to breach these boundaries, we will normally explain the concern and give you a reasonable opportunity to edit or remove it before restricting the site. We may remove or hide urgent content sooner where needed to address a legal, safety, security or serious rights issue, and will tell you the reason as soon as reasonably possible. Repeated or serious breaches may lead to termination after notice and an opportunity to respond where practicable.
6. Email and third party connections
Sending features depend on correctly configured services and consent-based lists. You must honour unsubscribe requests and applicable marketing rules. External platforms may change their limits or availability; we cannot promise delivery to every inbox or uninterrupted operation of third party services.
7. Availability, data and ending the service
We take reasonable care to provide and protect the service, but scheduled maintenance and faults can occur. We will keep each artist’s workspace and content separate from other artists. If you cancel, we will tell you how to obtain a reasonable export of your content and the date your public site will stop; your own domain remains yours. We may end the service for a material breach that is not remedied after notice, or where continued provision is unlawful. We do not exclude liability where the law does not permit exclusion. These terms do not remove any statutory rights that apply to you.
8. Changes and contact
We will notify existing artists of material changes to these terms before they take effect. For questions, corrections, cancellations or content concerns, contact the address supplied in your onboarding email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you.
